Acupuncture + Yoga

Would you like to explore ways to improve your physical and mental health? Are you interested in incorporating more acupuncture or movement into your routine? 

Join licensed acupuncturists, Sarah Cowley and Elena Beltran, with registered yoga teacher, Lauren Robinson, in a 90-minute event combining the ancient arts of acupuncture and yoga.

The evening will begin with a gentle yoga flow and conclude with a supported savasana, which is considered one of the best poses for relaxation. During savasana, Elena or Sarah will gently insert thin needles in specific acupuncture points that are known to help rebalance your nervous system, calm stress, and relax the mind.

There will be 3 opportunities to participate in this event where you can be included in 1, 2, or all 3 classes. Classes will be held from 7:00-8:30 pm on the following dates:

What is yoga?

Yoga is an ancient practice stemming from Ayurvedic medicine that involves moving your body in certain positions to help build strength, promote flexibility and reduce relaxation. Some consider yoga a moving meditation and it is a perfect complement with Chinese Medicine and acupuncture.


What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a branch of Chinese medicine that has been around for thousands of years. Receiving acupuncture involves the insertion of tiny needles in specific acupuncture points on the body. Science shows that it has an amazing effect on regulating your nervous system among many other things.
